Unwavering Perseverance and Drive
That’s what Vera Quinn is known for. Focused on people and set on results, Vera sets an example through accomplishment and action – inspiring everyone she meets to be a person of substance.
What Vera Values
Integrity, family, passion, curiosity, courage and conviction to reach one’s potential, and paying it forward: these values set the standard for how Vera lives her life and engages with her team, community, and world.
Rooted in Perseverance
Vera’s parents, immigrants from the former Yugoslavia, instilled in her the value of hard work, family, and faith in oneself – no matter what challenges lie ahead. Out of this seed grew an entrepreneurial spirit, a love of learning, and a focus on relationships: a foundation Vera remains rooted in today.
A People-First CEO
For over two decades, Vera has distinguished herself as a leader within Cydcor (a leading provider of customer acquisition solutions to Fortune 500 and emerging companies in a wide range of industries). As Chief Executive Officer, she continues to be a faithful custodian to the business – understanding that a company’s strength lies in its people.
An Entrepreneurial Spirit
Vera studied Political Science and History at the University of Toronto, but it was a discovered passion for direct sales that truly set her on the course she’s on today. While in school, Vera started in an ICL and over time built successful door-to-door, commission-based sales teams.
True to her entrepreneurial roots, she then ran her own bookkeeping and consulting business for four years, serving the needs of 15 clients through Cydcor’s network of sales offices.
A Call to Action
California called in 2000. Vera’s extensive field, operational, and client relations knowledge created an opportunity to join Cydcor’s corporate office in Southern California. Taking the bull by the horns, Vera’s work ethic, standout performance, and ability to lead advanced her to Vice President and Senior Vice President roles overseeing operations in 2005 and 2008, respectively.
A Role-Model Leader
In 2011, Vera was named the company’s Chief Operating Officer. In July of 2015 she became Cydcor’s first female President. This is a role she still holds, while also being promoted to Chief Executive Officer in 2020–again, becoming the first female to hold the position.
Vera sets a high standard for herself as she continues to show up as a role-model leader and powerful contributor. She has been integral in increasing revenue; supporting the expansion and diversification of the company’s client base; leading core disciplines; and developing programs that support the field and drive overall business growth.
More importantly, Vera is an advocate for the people and culture of Cydcor. A certified Franklin Covey trainer and avid life-long learner, Vera is the force behind the company’s personal and professional development programs — proof of her commitment to cultivate both opportunities and potential in others.
Giving Back
Vera’s passion for helping people and love for learning reaches well beyond her work in business. She is the Executive Director of Liberty Children’s Home in Belize and active in the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), serving as Vice Membership Officer and Engagement Officer for two consecutive years.
“I have been truly fortunate, enriched by the close relationships I have built in both my personal and professional lives. Many have helped me get to where I am today, and I am a better leader, colleague, and person because of it.”
